For those that are seeing this and don’t know Riley: Riley is my daughter, she will be 5 years old soon and she is learning to drive a power chair for the first time!
Riley’s diagnosis is cerebral palsy, brain injury, epilepsy, speech impairment and quadriplegia. Her physical disability is considered permanent/lifelong, however she is a very smart, determined, beautiful, happy and mostly very healthy little girl.
She is my angel and as a single parent I have worked hard to provide everything she needs, from resources to therapy, equipment to adaptive clothing and fun activities. There is only one thing so far that I have not been financially able to supply her and that is a conversion for a van to make it accessible for her new power chair.
Our goal is to allow her to embark and disembark independently. It is my priority to give her everything in life that she needs to be as self-sufficient as possible and with your help, we can realize this dream.
